Honor Guard Unit

The Rome Police Department Honor Guard is a ceremonial unit comprised of 8 sworn members of the department who maintain a high standard of appearance and conduct.

The primary role of the team is to honor and stand watch over law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Our Honor Guard Team takes pride in the law enforcement profession and will present a positive and professional image to the general public. The Honor Guard Unit also participates in parades, award ceremonies, and community events.
